When I created this collection, I naïvely assumed that because Bush had said such a smorgasbord of idiotic utterances there would be no need for anyone to concoct forgeries. I originally treated this as pure humour, but over time, it has become a weapon for catching Bush up on inconsistency. However, neocons are charging that every last one of these Bushisms is a forgery, and hence my entire website is one giant lie. In general, I did not bother to collect attributions when I plucked these from the web and from newsgroup postings. So if you could help out by finding sources as right wing as possible for each of these Bushisms, I will add your attributions. Over time I hope to find and add attributions for any items challenged, so you can also help by pointing out the entries you think are most suspect. I did not make any up myself except the incohol one which was clearly labelled a forgery.
