It can also be used to create traditional audio CDs or MP3 CDs. There are versions for Macs and Windows. I found iTunes faster than Roxio CD Creator. However, I found iTunes was more confusing and temperamental. iTunes lets you optionally listen as you import tracks from CD. It can also be used for listening to podcasts.
