Yahoo
A search engine that works by manually categorising the entries. Yahoo took over the management of webrings from Webring.org, then gave it back. Yahoo also offers a free webmail service and standard POP3 mail service to paying customers. Yahoo also has easy to use forums and chat, and even a miniature collorative database feature. They haven an instant messaging service called Yahoo!.

Beware of creating links into Yahoo News. They rapidly go stale. Other news organisations keep their links valid for years.
