Velocity
An Apache/Jakarata open source Java-based template engine. Velocity’s capabilities reach beyond the realm of websites; for example, it can generate SQL (Standard Query Language) and PostScript and XML (extensible Markup Language) from templates. It can be used either as a standalone utility for generating source code and reports, or as an integrated component of other systems. It is not a JSP (Java Server Pages) taglib, but rather an entirely different scheme that competes with JSP.
