YouTube is a free video hosting service ownd by Google. You can post your videos there and the public can view them. YouTube makes its money by showing ads. To a limited extent they share the ad revenue with the people who post the videos.
The quality is all over the map. You can gradually train YouTube to show you videos you are likely to find worthwhile. I monitor news, discussions about religion and educational video about wildllife and biology.
YouTube lets you post commentary of unlimited length about the videos.
To make your own videos you will need a digital video camera, a microphone and some software such as VideoPad Pro. YouTube accepts many different formats, and converts your work into the internals YouTube standard.
