IAP
IAP (Internet Access Provider) is a company through which you can attach to the Internet. In contrast, an ISP (Internet Service Provider) hosts your website. Sometimes the term ISP covers both functions since many companies provide both services. If you live in Canada, you need a Canadian company to provide access, but you can have your website hosted anywhere.

The Vendor Lists

  3. Java-friendly ISPs.
  4. Canadian Internet Access Providers.

Things to look for in an IAP

Setup

When your IAP comes to install Internet access, get him to help fill in a card like this with the relevant information you will need to configure your OS (Operating System) and applications and to talk to the tech support people.
