SavaJo was aJava-based OS (Operating System) and JVM (Java Virtual Machine) for hand held devices that supported Java. Sun bough them out. Their OS was written in C, C++ and Java. They were infuriatingly vague about the platforms supported. Presumably you got the source for the low level code and can then ported the OS to your particular device.
