VirtualBox
A free open source project to host many different possible guest OS (Operating System)es under many different possible host OSes (Operating Systems). The guest OS uses a file in the host OS to hold its entire file system. The guest looks like any ordinary task running under the host OS. The trickist thing is sharing files between host and guest OS.
