P3P : Java Glossary

P3P
P3P (Platform for Privacy Preferences), a proposal by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) consortium to allow browsers to automatically reveal personal information such as name, address, phone number, latitude, longitude under user control. It is not Java specific. It uses an XML (extensible Markup Language) protocol. It identifies fields with names like User.Home.Postal.
