neural net
A computer simulation of human neurons. A system implemented in hardware or software that is intended to emulate the computing structure of neurons in the human brain. They are programmed by training, showing examples of the correct solution, e.g. a selection of pictures of people and their names. The net learns by adjusting connection weights to recognize photos it has never seen before.
