Karmira appears to have gone belly up, but turned Bugseeker into open source before it died. Bugseeker is a standalone Java debugger than works with any JVM. The advantage over IDE debuggers is it uses less RAM and is hence more spritely. Be careful when creating method breakpoints to specify fully qualified class names and absolutely accurate method names. If you get them wrong, you won’t get any error message, and the breakpoint will not work. Unfortunately, you can’t select accurate classes and methods from pull down lists.
