An open source Java project sponsored by HP (Hewlett Packard) for writing semantic web applications using RDF and other languages based on RDF (Resource Development Framework). It maintains RDF triples internally in the form of a directed graph with nodes and edges. Its RDQL (Resource Description Query Language) query language searches in-RAM models sequentially for matches. It was named in honour of the author Brian McBride’s daughter Jena.
