JDIC
JDIC (Java Desktop Integration Components) is a set of tools to let Java integrate with desktop environments. JDIC lets you embed the native browser, launch desktop applications, create tray icons on the desktop, register file type associations and create JNLP (Java Network Launching Protocol) installer packages. It also lets you write screensavers in Java.
