A company that makes a $20.00 USD screen capture utility to do *.png screen captures in W98/Me/NT/W2K/XP/W2003/Vista/W2008/W7-32/W7-64. The current version is 7.4 Last revised/verified: 2013-03-14. It does this task very well. Most of the time you don’t need to do any cropping. When you manually crop, it shows a magnified picture of the corner so you get get it bang on the pixel.

FastStone is great for capturing browser images for printing. You can print them in colour. You can scale them to fit the page in various ways. In contrast, the built-in printing abilities of browsers are rather lame. However, FastStone is not suitable for printing long documents.

You can also use it to scan a document, or detect the colour of a pixel on any application. You can can also use it to put clouds around icons.
