FAQFAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Pronounced facks. FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) are misnamed.
They tend to contain answers to any question ever asked, and even some never asked except rhetorically, in random order. You pretty well have to skim them beginning to end to find what you are looking for. The more frequently updated ones are near the top. They are the lazy man’s way to organise documentation.
