crescendo Crescendo
The Crescendo website, liveupdate.com, has disappeared. Crescendo was a plug-in for midi and MP3 music files. There was a free version that waited until the entire file was downloaded before starting to play, and a pay version that started playing immediately. There was also server software that let even the free players stream. I gather they were made obsolete by faster connections and mp3.
