Binder
In dbAnywhere, a Binder is an object used to glue a GUI (Graphic User Interface) object to the RelationView of the SQL (Standard Query Language) database. It allows the database to inform the GUI when the value has changed and vice versa. ProjBinders deal with a single column. ListBinders deal with groups of columns. ProjBinders allow you to get/set the data in the SQL column in any conceivable format. ProjBinder looks after conversion to whatever format that SQL uses.
