HAART
HAART (Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy) Use of a cocktail of drugs to treat HIV (Human Immuno-deficiency Virus), usually including one or more drugs from each of the families, namely a protease inhibitor, a NARTI (Nucleoside Analog Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor), a NNRTI (Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor), and possibly an NRTI (Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor).

There are two new classes of drugs coming out in 2009 that will help those whose HIV has developed immunity to the standard drugs.
