NNRTI
NNRTI (Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor). An HIV (Human Imumuno-deficiency Virus) drug family. The odd name refers the biochemical mechanism it used to fight the HIV virus. The familily includes Nevirapine (Viramune) and Efavirenz (Sustiva).
