newsgroups: Newsgroups (sometimes erroneously referred to a Google Groups) are public places to discuss gay matters. Serious ones include can.motss (Canadian members of the same sex) and soc.motss (Society: members of the same sex). alt.homosexualty is primarily for religious fanatics to fulminate and young thugs to make threats and express their self hate. You meet all manner of cranks and angels.
