Kill The Taliban

Here is an email I received in response to one of my essays.

I have a BSc in Math. I studied honours chemistry and mathematics. I got the top mark in North America in a physics exam. I was at one point the youngest computer programmer in the world. So I am sure you can find at least one liberal less educated.

What kind of world would you like to live in?

It would be quite different from the one you would enjoy. I believe in social justice. I don’t think wealth and power should allow one country or one individual to exploit or bully another. I believe that we humans have a duty to preserve the plant and the planet’s plants and animals. I don’t think we should allow America with only 6% of the population to consume 60% of the planet’s resources. I don’t think Americans should be permitted to stomp about interfering in the internal affairs of other countries. They should stop deposing democracies and installing dictatorships friendly to US business.

It would be nice if we could just snap our fingers and everyone could have freedom like we do. You don’t understand and neither do I. You’re probably one of those people that thinks we shouldn’t have even gone after the Taliban for blowing up our towers.

You lived through 2001-09-11. Surely you recall that Bush blamed it on bin Laden, a Saudi (not a Taliban) and said bin Laden was probably hiding in Afghanistan. The USA had no extradition treaty with Afghanistan. Bush then made four extraordinary and illegal demands on the ruling Taliban:

1. That Afghanistan hunt down and capture bin Laden (something even the USA was later unable to do.).
2. That Afghanistan hand over bin Laden without first negotiating an extradition treaty.
3. That Afghanistan hand over bin Laden without an extradition hearing.
4. That Afghanistan hand over bin Laden without the USA presenting any evidence that he committed a crime.

In short, even if you believe Bush, he makes no claim the Taliban had anything to do with 2001-09-11. He invaded ostensibly to capture bin Laden, then stayed for strategic reasons — to revive the heroin trade, which makes a trillion dollars a year for his cronies, now supplying 92% of the world’s heroin and to build and guard a pipeline for Unocal. Bush appointed ex-Unocal people to a dictatorship for Afghanistan. Then he changed his story about why he was fighting the war. His new story was that the war was supposedly to serve the Afghan people by replacing the Taliban with one formed of war lords and drug lords.

By the way, they did, Mr. Physics. There have been computer simulations and many physicists that have shown it could really happen and there are many more variables than just energy = mc2.

I invoked Newtonian physics not Einstinian. The towers fell faster than gravity. That is not possible without additional force.

I call for a serious investigation of the hypothesis that WTC (World Trade Centre) 7 and the Twin Towers were brought down, not just by impact damage and fires, but through the use of pre-positioned cutter-charges. I consider the official FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency), NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), and 2001-09-11 Commission reports that fires plus impact damage alone caused complete collapses of all three buildings. And I present evidence for the controlled-demolition hypothesis, which is suggested by the available data, testable and falsifiable and yet has not been analyzed in any of the reports funded by the US government.
~ Dr. Steven E. Jones (1949 age:68) retired Physics Professor at BYU. In other words, the US government covered up the fact they took the buildings down themselves with explosives planted long before the planes hit.

You are the most ignorant bastard in the world for saying that you don’t care if US soldiers die in battle. They’re fighting for you, douchebag. If no one fought for this country you would not be free, in fact, you would probably look like one of those dead Americans in the pictures you apparently love to circulate. Don’t mock someone that’s fighting for you - Sure they are doing it for money but they are also doing something far more brave than you could ever think of.

They are not fighting for me. Neither Iraq nor Afghanistan attacked Canada or the USA. The USA illegally attacked both Afghanistan then Iraq unprovoked. The alleged hijackers were Saudi, not Taliban or Iraqi. Recall that the Nazis were hanged at Nuremberg simply for waging aggressive war. That makes the US soldiers war criminals. US soldiers have tortured men, women and children. US soldiers have used atrocities such as napalm, white phosphorus and cluster bombs. It is a wonderful thing when one of these bastards is killed.

They have both been dead since the early 90s.

I don’t think its possible for someone to be that liberal.

I am a Canadian and I live in Victoria. In my part of the world, I am middle of the road.

You’re on such an extreme, that it seems to me you are liberal for more than your beliefs.

It is you who is extreme. The USA is the most right wing, militaristic, greed-obsessed and despised country on the planet.

Many teenagers today side with liberals for the image that goes with it - free thinking hippies. I think people should think for themselves once in a while.

How about the death penalty?

In general I disapprove, but I think it would be appropriate for war crimes and for the mass murders and torture that Bush and his cabinet have ordered.

You must hate that too, you’re a liberal — but apparently you love circulating pictures of people with their heads blown off - isn’t a respectable soldier dying gruesomely worse than a mass murderer being injected with poison? But you don’t care about the soldier. Dumbass.

Your average inmate on death row has killed one person, often in a fit of rage. Your average soldier has killed multiple people, half of them kids. The soldier volunteered as a hired thug to kill people who did nothing to him. I hold hired cold-blooded killers in greater contempt that those who kill in passion.
