to lick the anus of another, and possibly to insert the tongue into the anus. This is quite an intimate activity since it passes E. Coli, pinworms, amoebas, intestinal parasites, hepatitis and almost any other disease the lickee is carrying. You might wonder why anyone would ever engage in such an activity. I have two theories:
  1. Courting behaviour is about convincing others of your genetic superiority. Perhaps by rimming you are saying "My immune system is so strong I can get away with this without harm."
  2. Possibly you are saying, "I already consider you my lifelong mate. Your parasites will eventually be my parasites anyway."
