Muse
A brand name for alprostadil, a treatment for impotence and premature ejaculation. You pee then you insert a pellet about 4 cm (1.57 in) into the urethra using a special applicator. The pellet dissolves in the residual urine and goes into the bloodstream. They contain the same medication as prostaglandin injections. You are only supposed to use them 3 times a week, though they are quite safe since they are a natural hormone and have been in widespread use for many years. You can irritate the urethra if you are too rough inserting them, or if you don’t pee first to lubricate the channel. Muse works quickly in achieving a natural-feeling erection that begins 5-10 minutes after dosing, and may last 30-60 minutes. It costs about $30.00 CAD a dose.
