bigot: Someone who likes persecuting groups of people such as gays, blacks or Jews. He collects stereotypes to justify his persecution. He also seeks out the worst behaviour of the worst behaved of each group and claims it represents typical behaviour. He is not above making up hate stories. A bigot is often a homophobe as well. Bigots are often religious fundamentalists. A bigot is someone with such low self esteem, the only thing he can think of to feel good about himself is that he has white skin, was born heterosexual, or was permitted to join some Christian sect. Further his self worth depends to pushing others down.
