Canda[sic] is Next

Here is an email I received in response to one of my essays.

I am puzzled that Cheney consults someone as illiterate as you about his future invasion plans. The USA is unlikely to invade Canada because it does not need to. American companies are already in control of Canada’s oil. The Canadian government makes them pay only a token for the right to pump it out of the ground and ship it to the USA. Canada is already economically a part of the USA through NAFTA and the WTO. Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s nose is dark chocolate brown from routing it like a pig up Bush’s backside.

A nation of whiners and complainers, but most certainly no doers.

Granted American likes to attack countries that did not attack it, simply to steal their natural resources, but that is hardly something to be proud of. The USA is the stingiest of all the developed nations in terms of helping the third world. Further, it consumes an obscenely disproporationate share of the earth’s resources. You are the most grossly overweight nation on earth. My country’s record is nothing to crow about, but it certainly much better than yours.

You stand for nothing and through your actions support the killing of innocents and the suppression of women.

You support the Karzai government which has the exact same fundamentalist Muslim suppression of women as the Taliban. Further, they are a puppet government controlled by the USA, a band of drug and war lords who sold out their own country. Karzai and his cronies are all ex-Unocal employees.

You Americans are the ones doing the lion’s share of the killing. You spent $2 trillion on mayhem. Canada is in Afghanistan, which we have no business doing, (Rumsfeld arm twisted us into it), but it terms of creating misery you overwhelm every country on the planet. Further, the American occupiers have revived the heroin trade in Afganistan. You pump more heroin into the planet than it can consume. The excess is going to addict children. You are proud of that?

I stand for self-determination — letting people in other countries choose their own leaders. Americans use a revolting definition of democracy to mean pro-American business, puppet government, dictatorship.

Keep up the good work maybe when the Taliban takes over Canda you will be the first executed.

Neither Iraq nor Afghanistan (the Taliban) attacked anyone. Your country attacked them unprovoked. Bush told you bin Laden is responsible for 2001-09-11. bin Laden and the alleged hijackers were Saudis, not Iraqis, not Afghans. I can’t believe you can’t tell the difference. What you are supporting is as silly as Britain attacking the USA in retaliation for something France did.

We have no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with the September 11th attacks.

You had nothing to fear from the Taliban until you attacked them first. They have every right to level your country the way you levelled theirs. They won’t attack you if you leave them alone. They just want you off their backs. Nobody picks a fight with a country with a military bigger than all the others on earth combined. They only engage in self-defence.
