WOFF : Java Glossary



WOFF (Web Open Font Format) is a W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) font file format for letting you use custom fonts in web pages. It similar to OpenType with extra metadata. WOFF2 adds compression. These are the most popular formats for web fonts. You use them with @font-face commands in your CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).
