V.35 : Java Glossary


CCITT (Comité Consultatif International Téléphonique et Télégraphique) standard for 48K BPS (Bits Per Second) modems in Europe and 56K BPS modems in the USA. It uses a rectangular 35 pin connector with electrically balanced signals. It most commonly used for connecting to digital leased lines.
