Microsoft’s proprietary non-standard version of Java they implement with CLR (Common Language Runtime) for .NET. Microsoft broke their agreement with Sun and created an incompatible version of Java earlier. Now they are doing the same thing, but the courts won’t let them call it Java. Microsoft’s main thrust is with a Java-like language called C#.
