Don’t Trust A Creationist
Every creationist website has a policy page announcing they promise to ignore all evidence that does not support the bible. What does this imply?
- The have already made up their mind. No evidence, past, present or future could conceivably change their minds.
- They deny the existence of all evidence in favour of evolution.
- They make up false evidence to support the bible.
- They make up false evidence to discount evolution.
- They create straw men versions of evolution to make it sound ridiculous.
This notion that lying to promote the faith is virtuous goes all the way back to Martin Luther.
What are the practical consequences?

- If you want a discussion of which parts of the bible are true or false, there is no point in going to a creationist.
- If you want to learn about how evolution works and the evidence why science supports evolution, there is no point in going to a creationist. You must consult a biologist.
