Ideal Weight
You’d think maintaining ideal weight would be a snap.
- See what it feels like when you are starving.
- See what it feels like when you are stuffed.
- The ideal feeling to aim for is somewhere in between.
- Pick an intermediate feeling and aim for it.
- If you tend to lose weight over time, aim for something more stuffed.
- If you tend to gain weight over time, or stick at a high weight, aim for something more lean.
But it isn’t a snap. The problem is your Paleolithic programming commands you to pack on the pounds any chance you get. It figures almost for certain there will be stretches of no food coming up. So it seems to me, your only hope is to avoid buying more food that you need to maintain optimum weight. You are going to gobble up whatever is available.
