The churches are criminal organisations:

• They physically abuse children in their care.
• They forcibly sexually molest children.
• They promote hate crimes against homosexuals.
• They con people out of money with false promises.
• They are medical quacks.
• They foster delusions and other forms of mental illness with hypnotic techniques.

Anyone else pulling off stunts like that would be jailed or run out of town.
