CCITT (Comité Consultatif International Téléphonique et Télégraphique) standard for power levels, line driver/receiver impedances etc. in unbalanced double-current interchange circuits. It covers the electrical characteristics of how two modems talk to each other up to 20,000 BPS (Bits Per Second).
