UnifiedIO : Java Glossary

UnifiedIO
UnifiedIO allows random access to any data or stream, even over HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol). It lets you choose either big or litte endian byte order. It lets you access everything (files, streams, arrays) in same manner through the same interface. Code is up to 120 times faster than Sun’s classes.

The program is free opens source under BSD (Berkeley Software Distribution).

The jar is about 120 kb. You can read the Javadoc online. Unfortunately there are no coding examples.
