BEA’s Windows and Linux Intel-based JVM (Java Virtual Machine) that uses light threads, mapping several Java threads onto one OS (Operating System) thread. Now owned by Oracle. It is optimised for server side use with multiple CPUs. It comes with performance monitoring tools. It four different types of garbage collectors.
