jCVS : Java Glossary
I have left this tombstone entry for historical interest.
Now defunct. jCVS (Java Concurrent Version System). A Java client front end to
Cyclic CVS version control
system. It let you track changes to source code, and to maintain several
different concurrent versions. Unlike PVCS (Polytron Version Control System),
CVS (Concurrent Versions System) allows more than one programmer at a time to modify a
module, and it does its best to merge the changes. The main jCVS trick was to update
or commit you must open a project with a name CVS/Entries..
You use the standard CVS server.
