HackSaw: InnoVal System Solutions’ abandoned library of code for writing TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) applications including: FTP (File Transfer Protocol) file uploading and downloading, SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) and POP3 (Post Office Protocol version 3) email, HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) file and header retrieval, USENET postings, file attachments using MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) and UU encoding/decoding and proxy support.
