I don’t normally speak out against websites such as the one I just looked at http://mindprod.com/politics/iraq.html but i mean i couldn’t help myself when i was looking threw everything because i try to keep an open mind and when i saw under culprits the first picture was a US Marine i was honestly sick in my stomach that someone could make a website and bash a marine who is risking his life for his country.

But that Marine did not risk his life for his country. Marines risked their lives in WW II, but not that Marine. He risked his life to destroy a country that had not attacked the USA and was disarmed and was no threat to the USA.

He may have thought was going to Iraq to protect his country from nukes, but when he got there, he learned first hand that was a lie. He partipated in genocide. He knew he was a war criminal. The U.N. declared the war illegal. He knew the war was illegal. But, like a good Nazi, he just followed orders.

yes i know and understand that some things happen that the military should not be doing but you have to understand what they are going threw i mean just looking at the picture can upset you but i mean try living that and being away from your family i would like to ask you that you consider this and would take the picture of the marine off of the website i enlisted in the marine corps a month ago and leave for basic training in sept i love my country with all my heart and i understand your rights to put a picture like that on your website and say whatever you want but i mean it is really hard for me to understand how you could put a picture like that on please consider this thank you.

The families of these men usually pushed these young men to enlist. It is only fair they should share the pain of their disgrace. These butchers have killed 100,000 civilians mostly children. They must be stopped. If stopping them shames them or shames their families, so be it. So no way will I remove that photo. The people who do the killing are the ones ultimately responsible.

It sounds like you too are a good Nazi, perhaps just a naive Nazi who has embarked on a killing spree without checking out first if there is any justification for it.

Universal Soldier

I wrote "Universal Soldier" in the basement of The Purple Onion coffee house in Toronto in the early sixties. It’s about individual responsibility for war and how the old feudal thinking kills us all. Donovan had a hit with it in 1965.

He’s five feet two and he’s six feet four
He fights with missiles and with spears
He’s all of 31 and he’s only 17
He’s been a soldier for a thousand years

He’s a Catholic, a Hindu, an atheist, a Jain,
a Buddhist and a Baptist and a Jew
and he knows he shouldn’t kill
and he knows he always will
kill you for me my friend and me for you

And he’s fighting for Canada,
he’s fighting for France,
he’s fighting for the USA,
and he’s fighting for the Russians
and he’s fighting for Japan,
and he thinks we’ll put an end to war this way

And he’s fighting for Democracy
and fighting for the Reds
He says it’s for the peace of all
He’s the one who must decide
who’s to live and who’s to die
and he never sees the writing on the walls

But without him how would Hitler have
condemned him at Dachau
Without him Caesar would have stood alone
He’s the one who gives his body
as a weapon to a war
and without him all this killing can’t go on

He’s the universal soldier and he
really is to blame
His orders come from far away no more
They come from him, and you, and me
and brothers can’t you see
this is not the way we put an end to war.
