Lie Recovery

Nearly everything Trump says is a lie. He usually gets caught in the lie. His way of recovering is to tell more lies, and to claim whoever caught him in the lie is himself lying. The problem is, this person has no motive to lie. So Trump smears him and slanders him viciously to give him a motive to lie and make his claim of martyrdom more plausible. Look at all the groups and people he has slandered:

• the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency)
• the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation)
• all 17 security agencies
• the generals
• the media
• The prime minister of Australia
• The president of Mexico
• The chancellor of Germany
• John McCain
• Civil Rights leader John Lewis
• The 21 women who accused Trump of rape or sexual assault.
• A Venezuelan beauty queen.
• Rosie O’Donnell
• Alex Baldwin
• Meryl Streep

This technique pits him against nearly everyone. It also takes him further and further out on a limb of absurd lies. The strange thing is he has so far managed to totally bamboozle his base. The catch is this base is shrinking. He will soon have almost nothing left.
